Co-OpititionWe hear of the term “friendly competition” a lot. But generally, when it comes to business, competition is competition and there seems to be no room for friendliness, let alone collaborate. It does not matter if the business is geared towards products or services; competition exists because of similar goals, target market and the notion that only the best will thrive.

In recent years, there has been a trend in business called “Co-Opetition”, which means competing companies engage in collaboration or cooperation to co-exist.

Whats the difference ?

Collaboration “is working with others to do a task and to achieve shared goals a process where two or more people or organizations work together to realize shared goals”
