Think Big – Then Think Bigger Join Us at Internet of Things Expo New York in June
The Internet of Things (IoT) is the biggest idea since the creation of the Worldwide Web more than 20 years ago.
Why? Because the "things" are not just desktops, laptops, smartphones, and tablets. The "things" come from the world of sensor-driven Big Data that is even now expanding the size of the Web beyond what we thought just a few years ago.
How big? Estimates from everyone from Gartner to the US Government foresee a 100X time increase -- then a 1,000X increase -- in Web traffic over the next few years. The world will need hundreds of billions of dollars of new servers, memory, storage, and data centers. The challenge to software developers will be increasing as never before.
What to do? Attend @ThingsExpo in New York June 10-12. We have the rockstar faculty that more than 100,000 past Cloud Expo attendees have come to expect. And a keynote panel that will set the world standard for IoT brilliance.
See you in June!

Cloud computing is now being embraced by a majority of enterprises of all sizes. Yesterday's debate about public vs. private has transformed into the reality of hybrid cloud: a recent survey shows that 74% of enterprises have a hybrid cloud strategy. Meanwhile, 94% of enterprises are using some form of XaaS--software, platform, and infrastructure as a service.
Cloud Expo is the single show where delegates and technology vendors can meet to experience and discuss the entire world of the cloud.
With cloud computing driving a higher percentage of enterprise IT budgets every year, it becomes increasingly important to learn about the latest technology developments and solutions. Recent research has shown other key trends:
The growth of Big Data reinforces the need for cloud solutions to handle exponentially more information flow – we are entering the Age of the Zettabyte
The Internet of Things (IoT) will result in at least 20 billion connected devices within five years – and trillions of devices beyond that
The software-defined datacenter (SDDC) is an essential component for modern enterprise IT infrastructure to process and manage this huge spike in data
In a non-stop 24/7/365 world, DevOps is emerging as the key way for enterprise IT to design and deploy what it needs as fast and effectively as possible
WebRTC is removing the difficulties and bottleneck of video and web communications
Cloud Expo offers a vast selection technical and strategic Industry Keynotes, General Sessions, Breakout Sessions, and signature Power Panels. The exhibition floor features 100+ exhibitors offering specific solutions and comprehensive strategies. The floor also features a Demo Theater that give delegates the opportunity to get even closer to the technology they want to see and the people who offer it.
Attend Cloud Expo. Craft your own custom experience. Learn the latest from the world's best technologists. Find the vendors you want and put them to the test.
See you in New York!

About IEEE CLOUD 2015
Being the first IEEE conference dedicated on cloud computing, IEEE International Conference on Cloud Computing (CLOUD) has been a prime international forum for both researchers and industry practitioners to exchange the latest fundamental advances in the state of the art and practice of cloud computing, identify emerging research topics, and define the future of cloud computing. All topics regarding cloud computing align with the theme of CLOUD. In 2015, we will celebrate our 8th version of gathering, to strive to advance the largest international professional forum on cloud computing.
Cloud Computing has become a scalable services consumption and delivery platform in the field of Services Computing. The technical foundations of Cloud Computing include Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) and Virtualizations of hardware and software. The goal of Cloud Computing is to share resources among the cloud service consumers, cloud partners, and cloud vendors in the cloud value chain. The resource sharing at various levels results in various cloud offerings such as infrastructure cloud (e.g., hardware, IT infrastructure management), software cloud (e.g. SaaS focusing on middleware as a service, or traditional CRM as a service), application cloud (e.g., Application as a Service, UML modeling tools as a service, social network as a service), and business cloud (e.g., business process as a service).
CLOUD is under the umbrella of IEEE 2015 World Congress on Services (SERVICES 2015) that is the biggest international forum, formally promoted by IEEE Computer Society since 2003, to explore the science and technology of Services Computing. CLOUD 2015 will co-locate with the following service-oriented sister conferences: the 22nd IEEE International Conference on Web Services (ICWS 2015), the 12th IEEE International Conference on Services Computing (SCC 2015), the 4th International Congress on Big Data (BigData Congress 2015), and the 4th IEEE International Conference on Mobile Services (MS 2015). The five co-located theme topic conferences will all center around "services," while each focusing on exploring different themes (web-based services, cloud-based services, Big Data-based services, services innovation lifecycle, and mobile services).
Extended versions of selected research track papers will be invited for special issues in the IEEE Transactions on Services Computing (TSC), International Journal of Cloud Computing, International Journal of Web Services Research (JWSR), and International Journal of Business Process Integration and Management (IJBPIM). Both TSC and JWSR are indexed by SCI and EI [Link]. TSC's Impact Factor in 2012 is 2.46. According to Thomson Scientific, JWSR is listed in the 2008 Journal Citation Report with an Impact Factor of 1.200. The journal ranks #47 of 99 in the Computer Science, Information Systems and ranks #37 of 86 in Computer Science, Software Engineering. CLOUD Proceedings are EI indexed.
To discuss this emerging enabling technology of the modern services industry, CLOUD 2015 invites you to join the largest academic conference to explores modern services and software sciences in the field of Services Computing, which was formally promoted by IEEE Computer Society since 2003. From technology foundation perspective, Services Computing has become the default discipline in the modern services industry. To date, CLOUD has become the most prestigious international conference in the field. The acceptance rates of its Research Track are listed as follows
2014 CLOUD Acceptance Rate: 18%
2013 CLOUD Acceptance Rate: 18%
2012 CLOUD Acceptance Rate: 18%
2011 CLOUD Acceptance Rate: 18%
The long-term goal of CLOUD is to build up the most reputable conference for the international community on cloud computing. It is very clear that the CLOUD belongs to everyone.
