IMN’s Provider Forum on Data Centers and Cloud Services Infrastructure: Where Cloud Professionals Gather to Reflect on an Evolving Industry

Business Meeting Eating Cheers Happiness ConceptIt’s safe to say that the cloud computing trend is alive and well. In fact, according to research firm, IDC, worldwide spending on public cloud services is expected to double from almost $70 billion in 2015 to a whopping $141 billion in 2019. In addition, IDC projects that the cloud infrastructure market, namely Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) and Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) solutions such as Amazon AWS and Microsoft Azure, will grow even faster than Software-as-a-Service platforms in the global market.

During this time of explosive growth, IMN is presenting the 7th Annual Provider Forum on Data Centers & Cloud Services Infrastructure (East) at the Mandarin Oriental hotel in Washington, D.C., on June 8-9, 2017. This forum is designed to address the critical business issues faced by many colocation and cloud service providers and data center executives by focusing on four key themes: Optimizing Business Models and Strategies for Growth; Expanding to New Service Offerings and Revenue Opportunities; Cost-Effective Infrastructure Investment, Future-Proofing and Security Measures; and Cost Reduction and Mitigation Strategies.

Cloud professionals and industry stakeholders will gather to discuss various challenges throughout the industry while attending a wide range of educational sessions including, “Opportunities in Government Cloud for CSPs,” “Network Evolution & Connectivity 2017,” and “The ‘Why, How & Who” in Developing a Cloud Strategy and Building-Out Your Ecosystem.” In addition, attendees will gain the opportunity to network with one another, securing deals that will influence the future of the cloud industry and digital economy.

Following last year’s conference, Jake Ring, President and CEO at dcBLOX Inc., shared, “Extremely educational for new entrants to the market. A must-attend event to get access to industry leaders.” Anthony Wanger, President of IO, stated, “I always enjoy seeing our entire industry in one room!”
